This was our last “live” conference before the Covid pandemic hit in. Organized by James Beard and Lauren Chelec Cafritz in the stunning Joshua Tree national park in California, the theme was “Sacred Breath”. We were able to enjoy drumming circles, sacred rituals, the always entertaining talent show, dancing to live music as well as the usual range of workshops freely given by participants and lectures and forums with prominent guest speakers.

After the event, we also had the opportunity to explore the wonderful natural beauty of the area including the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Marble Canyon as well as the more typically human aspects of California in San Diego and Los Angeles.
